The Russia Federation has been on fire through the first three days of the Inaugural European Championships. They closed out the third day of competition by winning their 10th Gold Swimming medal of the Games in the women’s 4×100 medley relay. In addition to winning the final relay of the day, they also managed to break Team USA’s Jr World Record from the Pan Pacific Championship last year.

The Russian relay team of Mariia Kameneva, Maria Astashinka, Polina Egorova, and Arina Openysheva combined to win the event and break the Jr World Record with their time of 4:03.22. Team USA established the previous record of 4:03.44 at the 2014 Pan Pacific Championships.
