Rutgers To Host Penta-Meet For Home Opener

Press Release courtesy of Rutgers Athletics

Rutgers swimming and diving hosts its first home event of the 2017-18 season in a penta-meet against Georgetown, Pittsburgh, Seton Hall and Villanova on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 3-4 at the Rutgers Aquatic Center in Werblin Recreation Center.

“We want to see if we’re doing certain things better after working on them this week,” said head coach Petra Martin. “We want to be competitive and make sure everyone is pushing in each event they are in. We want to see better relay starts and to get the distance group moving. It will be great to be home for the first time and swim in that environment.”

MEET INFORMATION

Friday’s session begins at 4 p.m., followed by Saturday’s session beginning at 10 a.m. Each team will score against each other in four dual meet formats over the two sessions.
