Kolkata: West Bengal ke East Burdwan district ke Kalna ki resident Sayani Das challenging North Channel ki swimming complete karne wali first Indian woman ban gayi hain. Swimming expedition ko successfully complete karne ke baad, wo ‘Ocean Seven’ me se 5 ko cross karne wali Asia ki first woman bhi ban gayi hain.

Britain ke time ke according, Sayani morning me 7:45 AM pe paani me utri and Saturday morning 03:00 IST (Indian Standard Time) par apne expedition ko complete kiya. North Channel Swimming Association ne apne social media handle par Sayani ki glorious feat ko share karte huye unhe congratulate kiya hai. Northern Ireland and Scotland ke beech located North Channel coldest channel hai. Das ne April me Newzealand me challenging Cook Strait Channel ko tairkar  cross kiya tha aur tab se North Channel ko cross karne ki taiyari kar rahi thi. Sayani ko hope hai ki upcoming days me wo Tsugaru Strait and Strait of Gibraltar ki challenge ko cross kar lengi and ‘Ocean Seven’ ke tahat sabhi channels ko cross karne ka crown achieve karengi.
