SDSU’s Kocourek, USD’s Hertting Capture Weekly Diving Awards

South Dakota State’s Clark Kocourek and South Dakota’s Greysen Hertting were named The Summit League’s Divers of the Week for their performances Jan. 10-11.

MEN’S DIVER OF THE WEEK   
Clark Kocourek, South Dakota State

Sr. // Omaha, Neb.
Kocourek earns his second career Diver of the Week honor after sweeping the diving events to help South Dakota State defeat league rival South Dakota (177-118) for the second time this season.  The senior won the three-meter dive with a school-record 333.32 points and the one-meter dive with a score of 306.98.  The Omaha, Neb., native ranks second in the league in the three meter and third in the one meter.

Also nominated: Cody Watts, IUPUI.

WOMEN’S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Greysen Hertting, South Dakota

Fr. // Appleton, Wis.
Hertting claims her seventh Diver of the Week award this season and second-straight after posting top-two finishes against league rival South Dakota State.  The Appleton, Wis., native won the one-meter dive with a score of 277.65, 45 points ahead of second place.  She also finished runner-up in the three meter with 232.13 points.  Hertting leads the league in both diving events.

Also nominated: Olivia Olesiak, South Dakota State; Julia Rassmussen, Western Illinois.
