Seminoles Pick Up Florida Free/Back Standout Fabiana Ingram

Wellington, Florida’s Fabiana Ingram has signed an NLI to swim with the Florida State University Seminoles in the fall. Ingram is a senior at Suncoast High School in Riviera Beach, where is the girls team captain and a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.

“I am so excited to be a Nole and be able to swim in the ACC in the fall. I can’t wait to get to Tallahasse, and I’m very happy with my decision.”

Ingram swims with the Lake Lytal Lightning in West Palm Beach and is coached by Gordon Andrews. At Suncoast High she is coached by Valerie Newcomer and Randal Oddi. Ingram placed second in the 50 free (23.62) at the 2014 2A Florida High School Athletic Association State Swimming and Diving Championships. She led the 200 medley relay to first place with a 26.29 leadoff backstroke, and also led the 200 free relay to an All-American time of 1:36.21 on their way to a first place finish. Ingram has been a state finalist all four years of high school and has medaled in individual and or relay events all four years. The Suncoast Chargers have finished second in the 2A state meet three out of her four years at the school, a first for the Chargers. This year Ingram gained international exposure, swimming for the Puertorican Swimming Federation.

Her best times include:
50y free – 23.63
100y free – 54.35
50y back – 26.29
100y back – 56.72
200y back – 2:05.87

Ingram is part of a strong Seminoles class of 2019 that also includes Lauren Peavy, Meg Brown, and Summer Finke. Coincidentally, Ingram will be joined in the fall in Tallahassee by the Chargers boys’ captain William Pisani.
