Shaine Casas Explains Why He Thinks It’s Important to Swim Fast At Every Meet

At this point, we’ve become accustomed to seeing Shaine Casas put on a show at any opportunity he’s given. The Texas-trained star shared his reasoning for this with the media in Indianapolis: “Any meet, big or small, I always focus on and want to show out… it’s just the way I carry myself and I think people appreciate that… It’s always nice to see anyone swim fast, it really brings a lot of energy.”

“If I can’t be swimming fast, I would love for somebody to be swimming fast to motivate me, to get me to swim fast. If I’m not swimming fast, I would love to make sure somebody else is swimming fast, because I know it will get back to me at some point.”
