The Bishop Hendricken boys repeated as champions at the 2020 Rhode Island Boys State Championships, winning the meet by nearly 100 points. CJ Sheldon took down the State Record in the 50 free. Sheldon swept the sprints, coming up just 4 tenths shy of the 100 free State Record in 46.69.

Freshman teammate Nick Andrews swept his individual races. In the 200 free, he dropped over a second to win the race in 1:45.91. Andrews used his back-half speed to take the edge over Nkhs’ Gresh Laing (4:49.42) in the 500 free, winning by hundredths in 4:49.34 as he held off a final surge from Laing. That was his first time under 4:50.
