Simone Manuel Enjoying Texas Training: “I’m having the time of my life at Austin”

2025 TYR Pro Swim Series — Westmont

Video captured by Barry Revzin.

Simone Manuel was back in the pool, swimming her first LCM race at the Westmont pro swim since the 2024 Olympic Games. In the 100 free, Manuel dominated the field, touching first in 53.23.

Manuel told SwimSwam that she took 14 weeks out of the water after the Olympics before getting back into training at ASU and then moving out to Austin to train with Bob Bowman. The Olympic champion says she has been focusing on the 200 Free in training the most and having the time of her life training at Texas under Bowman.
