WOMEN’S 50 FREE:

  1. Simone Manuel– 25.21
  2. Olivia Smoliga– 25.25
  3. Lia Neal– 25.32

With only a tenth separating the top 3 finishers, Simone Manuel got her hand on the wall 1st in the 50 free. Manuel clocked a 25.21 to take the win ahead of Olivia Smoliga, who touched in 25.25 for 2nd. Manuel’s Teammate Lia Nealfinished a close 3rd with her 25.32

Atlanta local and U.S. Olympian Amanda Weir was 4th in the final, swimming a 25.56.
