DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU men’s swimming and diving program has released its 2021-22 schedule.
Head Coach Greg Rhodenbaugh‘s team will open the season with the return of the SMU Classic on October 8-9, which welcomes top competition from around the country and features eight swimmers and one diver from each competing institution. The Mustangs will hit the road once in the fall with a contest at TCU. SMU will later host Oklahoma Christian and UIW on Oct. 30. The Mustangs wrap up the fall schedule with the SMU Invite in November.
The spring portion of the schedule begins with a trip to Arizona followed by a competition at Texas A&M. The Mustangs will then welcome Texas to the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center on February 4. This year’s American Athletic Conference Championships will be take place in Houston Feb. 16-19. The NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships are set for March 23-26.
Diving invites and postseason events are to be determined and will be added to the schedule at a later date.
