Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina swimming & diving will conclude the home portion of its schedule on Saturday with a tri-meet against Duke and UNC-Asheville. The meet will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will also be the team’s senior meet where the graduating class will be recognized prior to the start of the event.

The tri-meet will take place at the Carolina Natatorium with doors opening at 10:00 a.m. and senior recognitions beginning at 10:40 a.m. Admission to the meet is free and open to the public.

South Carolina’s men will compete against Duke while the women will face Duke and UNC-Asheville. The Gamecock women are currently ranked No. 21 in the CSCAA Division I Poll while Duke’s women are ranked No. 17.

In the all-time series against Duke, South Carolina’s men lead 11-7 while the Gamecock women lead 7-5. The two teams faced off last season in Durham with the Blue Devils sweeping the meet. This will be the first time that South Carolina’s women have competed against UNC-Asheville.

The Gamecock women are 3-2-1 in dual meets while the men are in search of their first dual win of the season.

During South Carolina’s last appearance at home, the women placed first out of a field of eight teams at the Gamecock Invitational while the men placed second. The team looks to improve upon their most recent home results, having set five new pool records at the event in November.
