Spanish Coach Of Year Goes To José Antonio del Castillo

The Royal Spanish Swimming Federation has announced that Jose Antonio del Castillo has won the Alejandro Lopez Trophy, which goes to the country’s coach of the year. This was a significant improvement on the two silver that the Spaniards earned at the 2012 Olympics in London.

de Castillo has also been in charge of the training of Melanie Costa, who finished second in the 400 freestyle in Barcelona.

On other coaching award was given out as Eugeni Lopez won the Jose Antonio Luis Hoyos Trophy as the top age group coach.
