Speedo Canada Announces Kylie Masse As Brand Ambassador

SPEEDO CANADA, a division of PVH Canada. (PVH Corp.), today announced that Olympic medalist, Canadian record holder and competitive swimming superstar Kylie Masse has joined Team Speedo [CANADA], marking her first endorsement since becoming a professional swimmer. As part of Team Speedo [CANADA], Masse will serve as a year-round brand ambassador, sharing her love of the water to inspire others, and will wear Speedo race suits when she represents Canada at all major competitions globally.

With its partnership with Masse, Speedo continues to strengthen its leadership in competitive swimming – more Olympic Gold medals have been won by swimmers in Speedo suits than any other brand – as well as have an ambassador who can amplify its programming and messaging around water fitness and activities.

“Pleased to have Kylie join Team Speedo.” says PVH Canada Inc., President Richard Deck. “Not only is she the Canadian record holder in the 100m backstroke and the bronze medalist in the same event from the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, her enthusiasm is contagious to those around her. The partnership between Kylie and Speedo Canada is one we are very proud of and look forward to more great things in the very near future.”

“Speedo is recognized worldwide as the premier brand in swimming and I am so excited to partner with them. I know Speedo will help propel my swimming career to its highest level,” said Kylie Masse. “The suit fits me well, I know it is fast and has been developed with the latest cutting edge technology. I still remember my first Speedo suit as a young girl and look forward to many more years with Speedo.”

Masse, 21, tied for the bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the 100m backstroke. Masse, who started swimming at the age of 10, is the Canadian record holder in the 100m backstroke as well as won gold in the 2015 Summer Universiade and was the 2015-16 CIS (University Championships) swimmer of the year while swimming at the University of Toronto.
