Speedo Signs Austrian Swimming Federation

The world’s leading swimwear brand, Speedo, has signed a new deal with the Austrian Swimming Federation (OSV) as its exclusive product and sportswear supplier.

The partnership, which lasts until the end of 2015, will see Speedo provide swimwear, equipment and apparel for athletes in all aquatic disciplines in the Austrian team, including rising star Lisa Zaiser who is already individually sponsored by Speedo.

Zaiser, who specializes in individual medley events is one to watch, at just 19 years old she is currently ranked 18th on the world rankings in the 200m IM long course. Zaiser is expected to compete in the 32nd LEN European Championships in Berlin this summer where it is hoped she’ll climb up the rankings even further.

Sean Hastings, Vice President of Product and Marketing at Speedo International said:

“Speedo is committed to supporting federations and growing the sport of swimming, which is why we’re thrilled to be working with the Austrian Swimming Federation. They’re as passionate about swimming as we are and we’re looking forward to supporting them.”
