I’m not sure this is what this site is about – even if you’re “quite certain this is accurate”.
Congrats to all on their accomplishments.
Isn’t what this site should be about (news and a celebration of international swimming), but is indicative of what this site has become (petty partisan collegiate and ideological sniping). Every post that even tangentially mentions college recruiting is immediately followed by a comments section train wreck.
Swimming is a great sport with a small passionate community. The US is extremely fortunate to have so many terrific college swimming schools/programs/environments. Live and let live.
I agree…if every great swimmer went to the same school, that would take the fun and excitement out of it! I can’t wait to see who signs where, and if there will be any really big surprise commitments. NC State is recruiting big time this year! I know they are not top notch, but it will be really exciting to see who they recruit. I hear they have 2 top 40 boys in the USA coming for trips. It’s all good.
Nice breastroke pick up for UCLA, who already have a commit from top recruit Madison White. Is there any news/speculation about Gargalikis? She went to the same prep school as Natalie Coughlin which is @15 miles from the Cal campus. Cal will be pretty thin at breastroke after Leverenz graduates this spring.
I hope your not serious..
Opps, meant for suzzie vvvvvvvv
I am quite certain this is accurate
It’s going to be interesting to see who else UCLA lands for next year. Between White and Burton they’re off to a great start after having a strong recruiting class last year. We hear they have a strong offer out to another stud that is seriously considering UCLA. Good for the Bruins! It’s about time with all that school has to offer.
