St. Francis Brooklyn vs Manhattan College vs St. Peters

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – The St. Francis women’s swimming & diving team scored its second consecutive meet victory on Saturday; defeating Manhattan College, 169-39, and St. Peters, 142-72, in dual meet format.

The Terriers won ten of the 13 total events.

A trio of St. Francis competitors earned their first career wins: Emma Reichert in the 50y freestyle (25.98), Melie Boulianne in the 200y individual medley (2:19.18), and Brianna Reece in the 1m dive with a score of 208.60.

The Terriers continued their winning ways with two upper classmen taking wins: Alizee Brossier in the 100y butterfly (1:02.00) and Bia Gomes Angelo in the 100y freestyle (55.82).

SFC would finish 1-2 in the 500y freestyle race, as Mariajose Lopez posted her second fastest time this season (5:15.94) and Laetitia Bouc was next to the wall (5:28.89).

Kayla McKenzie posted a score of 215.55 to win the 3-meter diving event.

St. Francis closed out the meet with a pair of wins. Freshman Elayna Pistrin took the 100y breaststroke (1:10.16), and the 200y freestyle relay team (Kristy NagtzaamRaquel Torrez, Reichert, Cassandre Zenon) cruised to victory.

NEXT UP: The Terriers travel to Long Island on Nov. 13 to face Stony Brook.

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – The St. Francis men’s swimming & diving team went unbeaten in a meet for the first time this season on Saturday; defeating Manhattan College, and finish in a tie with St. Peters.

The Terriers’ 200y medley relay team started off the meet strong, as the team of Arthur QueirozKamil GoleniecDaniel Santos, and Luka Dmitrovic won the race with their fastest time of the season, 1:35.82.

Jedi Morland Janes returned to the pool Saturday with two of his best times of the dual meet season. Janes posted the second best times of the conference season in the 1000y freestyle, 9:50.69, and the 500y freestyle, 4:47.00, respectively.

St. Francis took first and second in those races, with Benedek Lendvai just behind Janes, posting the third best times in the conference in the 500y and 1000y freestyle.

Santos followed up his part in the 200y medley relay win by finishing first in the 200y freestyle race (1:43.77) and 100y backstroke (53.75).

Dmitrovic scored his first individual win with St. Francis, placing first in the 50y freestyle (53.75).
