Former Stanford swimmer Lisa Falzone continues to gain recognition in the business world. Earlier this year we wrote about her inclusion on Forbes’ prestigious 30 under 30 list for influential people under 30 years old.
Falzone’s latest honor comes in Paste Magazine, which placed her at #2 on its list of the 10 Most Powerful Women in Technology Today. That spot ranks her higher than some high-rollers at some big-name companies like a VP of Twitter (#5), COO of Snapchat (#6) and the CEOs of Yahoo (#7) and YouTube (#8).
The 28-year-old Falzone is the CEO and co-founder of Revel Systems, the creator of a system that lets stores and restaurants use an iPad to run sales, collect signatures and run analytics on their business. The company has partnered with retail companies like Belkin and Goodwill, and lists Little Caesar’s Pizza and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory among its clients.

Falzone swam three seasons for Stanford, scoring points at the Pac-10 championships in all three seasons and winning two conference titles as a member of the Cardinal swimming program in 2004 and 2005.
I have been watching Lisa since she came to me with this idea and now it is the most powerful product in the market place. This decade will rate the Point of Sale the most powerful tool for analytics , advertising and business metrics and we are just touching the surface of this technology. Lets sit back and see where she takes it going forward. I just researched and found her company to be an 11 billion dollar market cap.
