3-METER DIVING – FINALS

Top 8 Finishers:

  1. Steele Johnson, Purdue – 499.35
  2. Colin Zeng, Tennessee – 495.15
  3. Michael Hixon, IU – 481.90
  4. Juan Hernandez, LSU – 468.80

  6. James Connor, IU – 433.25
  7. Grayson Campbell, Texas – 416.90
  8. Andrew Capobianco, IU – 381.60

Purdue’s Steele Johnson came through with a massive final dive, nailing it to pass up Colin Zeng and defend his 2017 NCAA title on 3-meter. To make things more dramatic, Johnson actually changed his final dive from the board to grab a higher degree of difficulty to overcome what was a solid lead from Zeng.

Indiana’s Michael Hixon was third, with teammate James Connor 6th and Andrew Capobianco 8th. Meanwhile Texas took 5th and 7th with Jordan Windle and Grayson Campbell.

LSU’s Juan Hernandez was the fourth-place finisher.
