Sun Yang Reports On The Progress In His Training After Toe Surgery

After a very long and eventful fall and winter Olympic gold medalist and World Champion Sun Yang has given his fans an update on his training.

Sun had foot surgery in January, a procedure that was performed to treat an infected ingrown toenail. Today he posted three photos of himself on his instagram account (sunyang1). The first two are of him training on dry land and the third is of his toe (it is a bit graphic).

Sun posted his training pictures 11 hours apart, so his fans could possibly look forward to him updating his progress on a consistent basis.

For now we know that he is back to work preparing himself to return to full training and competition as soon as possible.

“Olympic champion? This is the price..Never give up”

“Want to know how to grow as an athlete olympics champion it? This is the price. I dont know when my feet can be good…. sad difficult subject behind the success of the Athletes really”

I agree.

Park looks strong this year, and I hope Yang will finally break Thorpe’s textile record and goes under 3:40

It’s about time after 12 years!!
