A handful of swimmers, most prominently Ellie Simmonds of the UK, are featured in the British Channel 4’s “We’re the Superhumans” campaign for the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games.
Simmonds is a four-time Paralympic gold medalist, including a pair of golds won at the age of 13 in Beijing. Her four Paralympic gold medals came in the 100 free in 2008, 400 free in 2008 and 2012, and the 200 IM in 2012. Simmonds, who will be competing in Rio, currently holds S6 IPC world records in the 200 free (2:43.85), and the 200 IM (3:00.01).
The ad is a music video set to Sammy Davis Jr’s “Yes I Can;” this version is rebooted by a band of musicians with disabilities, The Superhumans Band, led by singer Tony Dee. The three-minute spot features over 140 people with disabilities, including many Paralympic athletes from a huge range of sports.
Universal Music will be releasing the track, directing all profits to the British Paralympics Association.

How about a solution? Para Games should be combined with the Olympics, period. It happens at WCs and Commonwealth Games.
