Ithaca College seeks ASSISTANT AQUATICS COORDINATOR/ASSISTANT SWIMMING OR DIVING COACH
ASSISTANT AQUATICS COORDINATOR DUTIES
Schedule the use of the Aquatics Pavilion and assist in coordinating indoor and outdoor pool and aquatics events. Participate in and coordinate facilities setup, equipment setup, inspections, submission of work-orders, organizing ticket sales, and event hospitality and concessions. Ensure safety of facilities, monitor access for students, faculty, staff and guests, and enforce safety and etiquette policies. Assist in developing aquatics programming for the Ithaca College campus community and special users. Participate in the hiring, training, scheduling and supervising of student aquatics facility staff and work in collaboration with Conference and Event Services in coordinating the renting of the facilities.
ASSISTANT SWIMMING COACH DUTIES
Assist with the intercollegiate athletics swimming and diving programs to include assisting with practices, at meets, and recruiting of athletes.
