JOB DESCRIPTION
Lake Country Swim Team is seeking a coach to be the lead coach for our Senior Silver and Senior Bronze training groups. These groups contain all of our 13-14 year-old swimmers and some of our 15 and over swimmers. This position also includes serving as an assistant for our Senior Gold and Sterling Silver swimmers. This is a full-time position with associated administrative responsibilities. Compensation includes a medical insurance stipend, matching IRA contributions, performance bonus plan, meet travel expenses as well as private lesson and clinic opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct and supervise LCST Senior Silver and Bronze training group
- Plan and implement an appropriate training program that maximizes each swimmers development while inspiring and challenging swimmers to be their best
- Assist and substitute for Head Senior Coach as needed with Senior Gold and Sterling Silver training groups
- Perform associated administrative tasks such as meet entries, website and communication contributions and other tasks matching our needs with your experience and skills
Qualifications:
- Current Coach Member in good standing with USA Swimming
- Current Lifeguard certification
- Substantial coaching experience and proven success with both developmental and elite swimmers
- Ability to manage and develop assistant coaches
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Well versed in Hy-Tek software and Team Unify platforms

About Lake Country Swim Team
Lake Country Swim Team (LAKE-WI) is a well-established year-round USA swimming team with more than 300 registered swimmers. We have a long tradition of success at the state, zone and national level. The team is a non-profit corporation administered through a board of directors comprised of parent volunteers and the executive director. We have a strong and supportive parent group and a stable and experienced coaching staff. We operate out of three 6-lane 25 yard pools and a summer outdoor 50-meter pool located in the beautiful Lake Country area (Hartland area) 20 miles west of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
