JOB DESCRIPTION
Lakeside Aquatic Club is seeking a full-time Team Manager to support the Head Coach and Board of Directors. Responsibilities include general club management, team billing, prospective and current member inquiries, reporting, event support and coordination, team communication, as well as website management and oversight.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Business and / or management background preferred
• Knowledge of Human Resource management principles and procedures
• Previous experience in competitive swimming helpful
• High degree of initiative and integrity
• Computer literate with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience in website oversight and Google Apps a plus
• Self-motivated and ability to work as a member of a team
• Highly energetic and proactive with excellent interpersonal, communication skills
(oral and written), and organizational skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the setup and administration of member accounts, working with North Texas Swimming to ensure all information is processed in a timely and efficient manner; processing new USA swimming membership applications for athlete and non-athletes.
• Day to day management of the Team Unify system dealing with various levels and groups of swimmers along with end user support for both the coaching staff and membership.
• Responsible for team billing process, ensuring monthly charges are all accounted for and entered into Team Unify so invoices can be processed timely and accurately, answering questions and resolving account issues, monitoring the credit / debit card and check processing with the bill payment system for member accounts.
• Interface and support the Treasurer position, post monthly receivables against member accounts & process bank deposits, billing research, refund processing & consideration along with monitoring aging report for member accounts.
• Support and daily interaction with coaching staff, coordinate collection of hourly time sheets and submit to Treasurer for payment, manage and bill out of High School and College summer programs.
• Oversee and perform Human Resources related functions — employee background checks, employee agreements, Texas Workforce Commission interface for LAC and maintain records retention in accordance with Government and USA swimming guidelines
• Responsible for the coordination of team travel and assisting when needed with volunteer coordination with LAC hosted meets
• Manage LAC team website (www.swimlac.org)
