Swimfluence’s June Box Is Here!

This week, Swimfluence, the subscription box service created for competitive swimmers, delivered its first round of boxes. Each month subscribers to the service will receive a package on their doorstep containing 6 to 8 products designed to positively influence the lifestyle of a competitive swimmer. Swimfluence founders Daniel Plantamura and Nicholas Eppel created the product with one goal in mind, to introduce swimmers to items that will create great habits in and out of the pool.

Each box will accomplish this goal by featuring a wide variety of items such as healthy snacks, anti-chlorine products, swimming gear, and motivational resources carefully selected from every corner of The United States to create a truly unique experience.

SwimFluence, Swim Fluence, box graphicThe idea for Swimfluence came when Plantamura and Eppel reflected back on their own experiences throughout a combined 25+ years in competitive swimming. Those experiences consisted of swim meets where the concession stand food, combined with sports drinks and energy bars from the grocery store, were the snacks of choice, hair that was completely fried and discolored was the norm, and motivational and goal setting material was not abundant.

Through Swimfluence, the duo hopes to help those swimmers who are currently in similar circumstances to make a change. With visions of highly motivated, healthy eating, chlorine reduced, and goal oriented swim communities in their head, The Swimfluence Team is ready to deliver an incredible experience.

Signed up for the June and July boxes and had fun opening a box full of surprises. I wish there were more swim products I would use like googles, a t-shirt, or unisex swim shorts. It just seemed that each box was full of TriSwim products and food bars that I was not interested in trying. I think chocolate or protein would be better food options.

About a week after receiving my July box I put in a request to cancel the subscription and still no one has replied.

Received mine on Monday which was a pleasant surprise. Some of the shredded padding was coming out of the box though. 😛

Glad I signed up, got some useful stuff and looking forward to next month’s box already.

Andrew! Thanks so much for commenting. We really appreciate feedback like this.

As for the padding coming out of the sides, we noticed this too! Fear not, we’ve spoken to our shipping company and they will be adding extra adhesive along the sides of the box to keep everything completely sealed!

Next box is look amazing already! It’ll be on your doorstep third week in July or sooner!
