Nicholas Andrade, a SwimMAC athlete, suffered a tragic diving accident visiting family in Brazil. He sustained a broken neck and trauma to his spinal cord. We spoke with legendary swimming supporter, Jeff Gaeckle, the former swim coach and man behind the Charlotte Ultraswim. Jeff’s a close friend of the family:
