SwimMAC affirmed its status as the top national-championships-level club in the country on Sunday, sweeping the men’s, women’s, and overall combined team titles at the 2014 U.S. National Championships in Irvine, California.
So dominant was SwimMAC’s final point total that if you were to remove the points scored by Tyler Clary, Ryan Lochte, and Micah Lawrence, the team’s three highest-scoring swimmers, SwimMAC still would have won the combined scoring.
In other superlatives, NCAP was the highest finishing team made predominantly of junior and amateur athletes. There were three exceptions, Andre Gemmell (23 years old, 18 points, NCAA post-grad); Chuck Katis (21 years old, 10 points, Cal undergrad), and Kaitlin Pawlowicz (21 years old, 17 points, Texas undergrad), but their other 147 team points all came from junior swimmers. The age of those three listed above is almost negated by the fact that NCAP got 29 points from 14 year olds Cassidy Bayer and Isabella Rongione.
In honor of their performance, below we’ve listed out all of the swimmers who contributed top 16 finishes to the effort, including relay swimmers.

Congrats to David Marsh and all at Swimmac. They are doing great work and the results show for themselves
Did anyone else, watching the live stream, notice David Marsh reach over and zip up Lochte’s warm-ups to cover Ryan’s green Speedo t-shirt as they were about to photograph Swim Mac team photo?
yep
Also apropos that Club Wolverine and Cal tied on the men’s side.
