Help!Last night, while eating dinner after the TYR Pro Swim Series finals in Atlanta, Georgia, our rental car was broken into.
All of the swimmers' bags, goggles, swim caps, tech suits, bag tags, and a GoPro were GONE.
Unfortunately, my swimmers have NO techsuits.#TYRProSeries pic.twitter.com/8aZuTa6w74— Racer X Aquatics (@racerxaquatics) March 3, 2018
Thanks to our friends at @TYRSport for helping out these swimmers in #Atlanta & outfitting them for free!! 👏🙌#TYRProSeries https://t.co/Kp7XXQeC1a

To all young swimmers out there:
I was not in the 13.2%, I was not in the 12.6%. I was not in the 31.1%. I was not in the 53.5% until my very last meet as a 16 year old. Never give up pic.twitter.com/sFE4t8zsC0— Justin Ress (@LilJRess) March 3, 2018
Started from the bottom and now he’s a Worlds finalist.

Jacob Molacek and Ryan Held nailed their 2008 Michael Phelps and Garret Weber-Gale impression… let the memes commence.

So Yesterday I was in a nail salon getting a pedicure and the nice lady painting my toes asked if I wanted to wax my “swimmer” legs. 🙈🙈#swimmerproblems

In the words of our very own Mel Stewart, swimmer biceps are purely for aesthetics (jump to 2:28 here).

When the staff says don’t take the elevator in you dorm because it doesn’t work and people have gotten stuck in it but you keep taking it anyways because taper 😬😅
— Simone Manuel (@swimone) March 1, 2018
Never risk the taper.
Couldn’t agree more with the original #10 tweet (not the reply to it). I was so tired of the narcissistic tweets from UVA I had to unfollow. Boast about your swimmers and divers all day long, I enjoy reading about all of their success. Their success is how club coaches can evaluate the job a college coach is doing with that program, not from immature tweets from that program’s twitter handle. I am pretty sure all coaches are extremely proud of their athletes’ success but most don’t continually give themselves credit through Twitter.
#thedesorboeffect sounds pretty narcissistic to me as well. congrats on the success, but haven’t you ever heard “there’s no I in team”? it’s totally different for swimswam or whatever third party entity to use it, but… it’s kinda weird that UVA’s twitter does as well
Mel used to say they were merely cosmetic.
Literally lol. Gold. Twitter Gold.
Mel, you already were my hero, but that video is just perfect.
This is the 1st time I literally laughed at all the entries, but in awe of #8 and #6.
