On this day 17 years ago, Eric “The Eel" Moussambani inspired the world. #Sydney2000 @FINA1908 pic.twitter.com/kDXrgy365f

Doesn't get bigger than vs. UNC, so figured we would show @PackVball some support.#1pack1goal 🐺🐺 pic.twitter.com/BY9K1FVQtk

Regardless of who does or doesn’t show up to watch them swim, you can bet that swimmers will be out there supporting other teams, usually in notable fashion.

Cullen Jones has still got it. We repeat: CULLEN. JONES. HAS. STILL. GOT. IT.
Check back next Sunday for round three!
David Marsh’s swimmers better hope he doesn’t go NAVY SEAL on them with these beach workouts.
So far , no kneeling .
Eric the Eel apparently got down to a 56 in his 100 free, which is pretty baller.
About 13 years ago or so?
I think so! Which when you lay it all out is crazy – he was already 19 or 20 in 2000 when he went that 1:50, basically cut that in half.
It goes without saying that Cullen Jones’s 1:01.9 100 kick was LCM…. right??
Lol I hope
1:01.9 SCY would still be insane for anyone I’ve ever met. But the pros are just on another level kicking, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that was LCM.
I don’t know about insane, I swam on mid-level club team of about 13-15 high schoolers and we had about four guys who could all go 1:02 or faster SCY.
Schooling went 1:01.8

How many swimmers are on the west coast Team Elite??? I see like 30-50 people there!
He’s the UCSD head coach now, too
