SwimOutlet.com’s Team Division has signed on as the official presenter of our coverage of the upcoming Olympic Games in London, and have provided some really cool prizes for our pick ’em contests.
Each one of 8 daily winners in the individual contest will receive a $25 SwimOutlet.com gift card, along with a free customized Team Division mesh cap, such as the one seen below. Winners can embroider their team logo, or anything else they want, on the cap.
The relay contest will be divided into three separate daily winners – the winner of the combined men’s and women’s 400 free relays, the combined men’s and women’s 800 free relays, and the combined men’s and women’s 400 medley relays.
The overall contest winner, one each from the individual and relay contests, will receive a $100 SwimOutlet.com gift card for their exploits, and the honor of “SwimSwam International Contest Champion” until the 2013 World Championships.
Tie-breakers will be in effect for each day of the competition. The same procedure will be in place both to break ties for daily prizes, as well as those for the overall prize: The first tie-breaker will be whoever has the most gold medalists correct in the relevant period; if the tie is still not broken, those who are still tied will be separated by whoever picks the most silver medalists, and so-on.
For anyone who loses out on a tie-breaker. SwimSwam will shoot you a free SwimSwam t-shirt in recognition of your extreme knowledge of the sport!
