After day 3 prelims, Kenyon’s men will have 5 swims to combat four divers from Denison, one returning swimmer and the timed final of the 800 freestyle relay. On the women’s side, Emory’s Eagles are taking flight with 9 returning swims and the relay tonight. Denison and Kenyon both have 4 and JHU has 2 returning swimmers.

Eagles Swamped by Crimson Tide
On Saturday afternoon, the men and women of Emory’s Swimming & Diving program faced off against Division I competition in the form of the University of Alabama at the Don Gambril Olympic Pool in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The Crimson Tide beat both the Eagles on both sides, taking the victory 196-92 over the men, and 178-110 over the women.

Emory Senior Day Edged Out By DI Georgia Tech
The Emory University Swimming and Diving team turned in some of its strongest dual meet performances of campaign, but both the Emory men and women were ultimately defeated by NCAA Division I Georgia Tech on ‘Senior Day’ at the Woodruff Physical Education Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Emory University Swimming and Diving teams split the opening meet of the 2014 portion of their campaign, with the top-ranked Emory women defeating Florida Southern College 195-67, and the third-ranked Emory men suffering a 165-97 loss to the Moccasins.
