University of Denver senior women’s swimmer Avery Niemann (Oklahoma City, Okla.) competed earlier this month at the 2018 Pan-American Modern Pentathlon Championships, finishing 14th in the event, the top finishing American woman in the test event for the 2019 American Games in Lima, Peru.
