Day two of the Louisville Invitational held at the Ralph Write Natatorium kicked off today following a very eventful first day of swimming which had both the Cardinal men and Cardinal women ranked first overall.

The 200 medley relay was the first event, and it paved way for another Louisville win. Tanja Kylliainen led off the relay in 25.51 followed by a 28.38 from Lucy Kramer. Kelsi Worrell made the difference in the relay splitting a 22.94, the fastest split of the evening, on the fly leg and taking the lead for Louisville over Western Kentucky. Freestyle anchor Andrea Kneppers kept that lead as Louisville won in 1:39.55 over Western Kentucky’s 1:40.18. Kentucky’s efforts were much due to a quick 24.83 backstroke split done by Nadine Laemmler.
