The “Idols of the Pool” are going head to head against the “Gods of the Stadium” in France… in calendar sales, that is. After enjoying a 15-year run as the pin-up kings of French sport, the French national rugby team will have competition for 2016 from the likes of Florent Manaudou, Camille Lacourt, Frédérick Bousquet, Fabien Gilot, Grégory Mallet, William Meynard, Giacomo Perez Dortona, Mehdy Metella, and others.
The “making of” video was released today, showing images from behind the scenes of the photo shoot at Cercle des Nageurs de Marseille, the home club of most of the French national men’s team. The 2016 “Idols of the Pool” calendar goes on sale on October 15, 2015.
