Eric Whisenant from Jackson, Tennessee has made a verbal commitment to the application process at Harvard University.*

Whisenant attends University School of Jackson where he is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American and Tennessee high school state champion. At the 2016 TISCA Tennessee High School Swimming and Diving Championships, he won the 100 back in 48.64 and placed fourth in the 200 free with 1:40.41. Whisenant swims year-round for Germantown Center Swim Team. He was a C-finalist in the 200m back at 2016 Speedo Summer Nationals, notching a best time in the process. He also competed in the 200m free and 100m back.
His best SCY times are:

- 100 free – 47.77

- 200 IM – 1:52.91
Whisenant will join the Harvard University class of 2021 along with fellow commits Corban Rawls, Charles Vaughan, Levente Bathory, Mahlon Reihman, and Michael Zarian.
