Tennessee Works Tuesday AM Power + Speed | PRACTICE + PANCAKES

SwimSwam was on deck in Knoxville for a Tuesday morning practice with the University of Tennessee. There were two main workouts, the distance-oriented and the sprint-oriented athletes, but both groups were doing some form of resistance and power. While the distance group got into it pretty quickly with buckets and pace, the sprint group took their time warming up with drills and skills before working on the buckets and finishing with fins and socks. See both workouts below (Sprint workout is first, then distance):

Hi Coleman,

Thank you for the video. To answer your question about what I liked. I liked your feedback about what was happening in the video and what you took away from the set/practice. I also appreciate it when you’re able to post the entire workout so that we see how they flow through the practice and build into each other.

A question regarding the practices. Was the tower/rack work on a separate sheet, done verbally by the coach, or am I just missing it on the sheets?

Thanks,
