Sathianchokwisan is a Thai national, and she will follow the footsteps of another Thai sprinter who went to A&M: Kornkarnjana Sapianchai. A 2020 graduate, Sapianchi was a scorer in multiple sprint events at the 2018, 2019 and 2020 SEC Championships.

At the 2019 and 2020 Florida HS 1A State Championships, Sathianchokwisan has finished runner-up in the 50 free and 100 free. She went her lifetime best 22.85 at the 2020 meet in November, while she’s also gone bests in the 200 free, 100 fly and 100 back since the pandemic hit.

Sathianchokwisan has represented Thailand at the 2018 and 2019 Asian Games, and she holds long course bests of 25.89 in the 50m free and 56.73 in the 100m free. She is under the Wave I qualifying time in the 50 free for the U.S. Olympic Trials, for context.

The A&M women are led by freshman Chloe Stepanek (22.2/47.8/1:44.4) in the sprint free events, though they just lost junior Emma Carlton (22.5/49.3/1:48.7 lifetime bests) who transferred to Tennessee.

Sathianchokwisan joins Hadley Beeson and Sarah Lankford in Texas A&M’s class of 2026 on the women’s side.
