Texas Men Close Out Diving Invite With Strong Showing On Platform

AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas men’s divers take the top four spots in the platform contest on Saturday afternoon on the last day of the Texas Diving Invitational.

Junior Jordan Windle completes his trifecta, winning the platform diving competition with a score of 415.90. Windle also won the 1-meter contest on Thursday and the 3-meter contest on Friday.

Senior Reed Merritt finished in second place after a great final round dive jumped him from fourth to second. His final score was a 349.65.
Freshman Andrew Harness finished in third with a score of 348.55 and senior Jacob Cornish finished in fourth with a score of 342.90.

The Texas men’s swimming and diving team will return to action on Wednesday, Dec. 4 for the Minnesota Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn.
