Sorry I don’t get Calanog’s brag here. He coached a high schooler to sub 19 – which is impressive, even if it’s Dressel.
But coaching a college athlete to a sub 19? Very fast obviously but it’s not earth shattering these days.
Am I missing something deeper?

Jeff Poppell (Bolles & Gulliver/ARK & UF)? Gregg Troy (Bolles/UF)? Steve Bultman (GPAC/TA&M)? J Agnew had a lot of IN HS success and NCAA.

If you want to take Jason’s path (being an assistant to someone & taking credit for) we can include Jeff Dugdale (SwimMAC/Queens)

Pete Carroll in the NFL/NCAA?

Jason Calanog out here shamelessly taking credit for 1 – Dressel’s insane talent and work, 2 – Foote’s sub 19 when he’s not even the head coach

What? No images from Google’s Gemini showing a men’s 4X100 free relay team breaking the 2:40 (scy) barrier?
