As a senior in high school, Zach McGinnis was a solid :51.5 in the 100 yard back and 1:50.4 in the 200 back. Now a senior at Virginia Tech he holds the school record in the 200 back with a 1:42.5 and has the fastest 100 back in the country so far this season with a 47.0. Even more impressive he had to overcome two shoulder surgeries in high school and is now battling bouts of epilepsy.
