Washington DC Bans Water Bottles at Public Pools, Inspector Classified Them As Food

Team SwimSpray trains at the Wilson Aquatic Center in Washington, DC. Recently, the city banned water bottles anywhere on the pool deck because the health inspector classified them as “food.”

SwimSpray’s standout performer was Dr. Andrew “Andy” Shyong, of Bergen County, New Jersey, winning three events and contributing to several relays. Dr. Shyong won the 50 fly, 50 back, and 100 IM.
