2022 AUSTRALIAN SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Siamo arrivati alla prima sessione di finali dei Campionati australiani di nuoto 2022. La prima serata è iniziata con i 400 stile libero maschili, dove Elijah Winnington ha conquistato il titolo e la qualificazione ai Mondiali in 3:43.10. Mack Horton, campione olimpico 2016 nei 400, non si è qualificato per le Olimpiadi di Tokyo quando si è piazzato terzo ai Trials. Quest’anno, tuttavia, farà ritorno in squadra, essendosi piazzato al secondo posto qui ai Trials con un tempo di 3:44.06. Il PB di Horton è di 3:41.55,  nuotato quando vinse l’oro a Rio.
