Parkway Swim Club’s Lauren Massot has officially inked her commitment to compete for Truman State University in the fall. While representing Westminster Christian Academy, Massot finished 10th in the 100 backstroke and 17th in the 200 IM last year at Missouri State High School Championships.

Massot should contribute right away for the Bulldogs, as her top times in the 100 back and 100 fly would have already landed her in the B-final of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship based on 2015 results.

Her Coach at Parkway Swim Club in St Louis, John David Williford, told SwimSwam:

“Lauren is a great individual to have on your team. She is a hard worker, positive, and supportive teammate and I believe she definitely has some more potential to be reached. I look forward to keeping up with her progress at Truman State.”

“Truman is a beautiful school with great academics, and I felt like I fit right in there. The swim team and coaches were so welcoming, and I loved the encouraging and positive environment they provided at and away from the pool. I’m excited to be a part of the team and continue my swim career there.”

Best Times:

58.91 100 backstroke

2:11.13 200 backstroke

2:13.36 200 IM

1:00.36 100 butterfly
