U.S. Olympic Men’s WP Team To Play Final Match Before Rio Saturday

Houston, TX – July 28 – The 2016 U.S. Olympic Men’s Water Polo Team will take part in one final tune up before the Olympic Games begin when they meet Montenegro at the University of Houston’s CRWC Natatorium on Saturday, July 30 at 4:30pm ct. Team USA will open competition in Rio de Janeiro one week later on August 6 when they meet Croatia to kick-off Olympic play.

The United States is coming off a silver medal at the 2016 FINA World League Super Final, their best finish at a major FINA competition since winning silver at the 2008 Olympic Games. Head Coach Dejan Udovivic named the 2016 Olympic Team on the deck of the USS Midway on July 7, see below for a complete team roster.
