Ukrainian Junior National Championships To Be Rescheduled Due To Current Crisis

The Ukrainian Swimming Federation announced today that they would be moving the date of their boys Junior National Championships due to the crisis that is currently happening in the country. The championships were originally scheduled to run from May 30th through June 2nd.

The following is a rough translation from the original announcement which was published in Ukrainian:

Due to the exacerbation of social and political situation in the eastern regions of the country executive committee Swimming Federation Ukraine decided to postpone the championship of Ukraine among boys swimming. The date and venue of these events Swimming Federation Ukraine inform soon. Earlier it was planned that the competition will be held in Kurakhovo from 30 May to 2 June.

Btw – Ukrainian swim fed = 🙁 not Swim Swam .

Not too bright there Guys . Kurakhova is smack bang in the ‘anti – Kiev ‘ zone where the Ukrainian army ( such as it is ) has had tanks stolen ,been kidnapped , police have laid down their weapons & cities declared themselves independent .

Might have worked this out a bit sooner .
