UNCW’s Will Ryan won three events for the second straight outing while Meghan Lahr added two wins and swam on two winning relays as the Seahawks swept UNC Asheville and Gardner-Webb on Senior Day Saturday at the Seahawk Natatorium.

Men: UNCW 198, Gardner-Webb 89
Women: UNCW 204, UNCA 89 | UNCW 168, Gardner-Webb 126 | Gardner-Webb 195, UNCA 67

The Seahawk women won twice to push their record to 6-1 while the men’s win over Gardner-Webb raised their record to 4-1.

Ryan aided the men’s win with victories in the 100 and 200 Breaststrokes and in the 200 IM. Adding multiple wins for the Seahawks were Tad Spence (100/200 Backstroke) and Connor Forsythe swept the 100 and 200 Butterflies.

Lahr, meanwhile, dominated the sprints for the women, winning the 50 and 100 Freestyles, and swimming legs of the winning 200 Medley and 200 Free Relays.
UNCW swept the women’s diving events with Bri Urich and Adyson Lowe winning the 1 and 3-meter boards, respectively. Allen Crosby picked up a win in the men’s 3-meter dive.

The Seahawks visit South Carolina for a multi-team meet on Jan. 27-28, in Columbia, S.C.
