UNCW’s McNall, Klausen Pick Up Diving Wins Against ECU, Richmond

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Freshman Trinity McNall earned her first win of the season and junior Courtney Klausen chalked up a win to lead UNCW on Saturday in diving at Minges Natatorium.

McNall won the 1-meter board with 256.95 points while Klausen finished second (228). Tatum Church rounded out the top-five with 202.15 points.

In the 3-meter it was Klausen walking away with the win while McNall finished second. Klausen finished with 275.75 points and McNall with 233.55. Tatum took third with 230.75 points.

Also competing were Lauren MehtaHunter Smith and Morgan Bakalar. Mehta was eighth in the 1-meter and sixth in the 3-meter. Smith took ninth in the 1-meter and seventh in the three. Bakalar was 11th in the one and 12th in the three.

UNCW visits Campbell on Oct. 23 for a swimming tri-meet with UNCA. The Seahawks, however, will compete against UNCA in a diving meet the same day, but at the Seahawk Natatorium.
