The University of Tennessee and Tennessee Pilot Aquatics Club (TNAQ) are pairing up for a second year in a row to help raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. The clinic will take place on November 1st at the University of Tennessee. The hope is to raise $10,000 for the Breast Health Outreach Program at the UT Medical Center Cancer Institute.

“Breast 4 Breasts” was a wild success last year, featuring UT Head Swimming and Diving coach Matt Kredich and UT swimmer Molly Hannis and UT Alum Brad Craig, both members of the USA National Team.

“Last year’s Breast 4 Breasts fundraiser was a major success,” says Molly Hannis, University of Tennessee All-American and NCAA Champion. “We exceeded our goal raising roughly $13,000 in honor of Kim Kredich (Matt Kredich’s wife). So far this year we have about 100 kids signed up and we’re really excited to have the opportunity to host such an incredible event again this year.”

The event this year is officially “Back 4 Breasts”, as it is the second annual event, featuring a backstroke clinic hosted by UT Head Swimming and Diving coach Matt Kredich and demonstrations by SEC Champion Sean Lehane and NCAA Champion and World Championship Team Member Maya DiRado. A special autograph session will take place after the clinic.

Registration is now $65 per swimmer and more information can be found here.

UT Medical Center gave my mom 18 years after her diagnosis with stage 4 breast cancer. Thank you UT for hosting this event (again) and raising funds. My best wishes for the Kredich’s as they fight this battle (again).
