A pair of upperclassmen raced to victories Saturday evening to lead Omaha. Senior Morgan Stepp paced the field in the 200 free (1:56.15) from start to finish en route to a first-place showing. Sam Starke continued Omaha’s wining ways, as the junior recorded the Mavericks’ second victory on the day in the 400 IM (4:39.46).
Sophomores Isabelle Robuck and Kate Fay both earned event wins. Robuck dominated the 100 fly field, touching the wall in front of the pack at 59.84. Fay succeeded in her marquee race, the 1650 free, finishing victorious with a time of 18:12.58.
The Mavericks swept the diving events on Day Two, as both sophomore Annika Clinton (1-meter) and freshman Andrea Brosnahan (3-meter) won their respective events.
