Today USA Diving announced their plans to host the upcoming 2021 USA Diving Winter National Championships at Indiana University Bloomington in the Counsilman Billingsley Aquatic Center. The event will be held December 11-18, 2021, with competition beginning on December 13, 2021.*
“We are happy to be bringing our 2021 Winter National Championships to IU Bloomington and to bring our top athletes back together to compete,” said USA Diving President, Lee Michaud, “After a successful Olympic Games, we are looking forward to showcasing our nation’s divers as they compete for a National title and the opportunity to represent USA Diving internationally this coming year.”
This event will serve as the qualifier for the upcoming FINA World Championships taking place May 13-20, 2022 in Fukuoka, Japan, the FISU World University Games taking place June 26-July 7, 2022, as well as potential FINA Grand Prix events. Selection procedures for these events will be released soon.
The list of qualified divers and meet registration page will be published early next week.
