USA Swimming and Sigma Gamma Rho Partner For Conference In Boston

WHO:

USA Swimming and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., a historically Black service organization, have teamed up for the 2013 Sigma Gamma Rho Regional Conferences. This partnership is part of USA Swimming’s on-going recruiting efforts aimed at arming parents with the information and resources they need to get their children involved in the sport for its health and safety benefits.

USA Swimming and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. have developed a sorority-specific call-to-action initiative that focuses on highlighting water safety on the grassroots level within their chapters’ communities. The regional conference will stop in Boston, Massachusetts, April 25-26, 2013, and will feature American International swimmer Alex Meyer.
